Boat meeting location
These are the two places where you and your crew will meet the boat. We will confirm which one before you start. You MUST NOT be late to meet the boat, as the pilot is on a strict schedule.

EVENT LEAD-UP
Enduroman will contact you 3/4 weeks before your attempt to establish which line of communication is best (phone, WhatsApp or email) and this is a good time to ask any questions you have.
We will then be in touch 5 days before your slot starts and from that point, there will be regular contact (sometimes twice a day) with weather updates and potential dates/times you will start.
The questions we will be asking you are;
• When are you arriving in the UK (if you live outside it)
• Have you completed and emailed all the support team immigration/passport information form for the pilot (this is very important and required 7 days before you start)
• Where you will be staying before the attempt
• Details about your support team, vehicle and your bike
Accommodation in DOVER
You can book your entire swim period with these hotels and cancel nearer the date when you know when you will be swimming. It’s a good idea to explain to the booking staff that you are swimming the channel, and they will explain their cancellation policy. Ensure you book promptly, as they get booked with other channel swimmers and their crew!

Accommodation in Calais
The hostel many athletes use for a break after the swim is called the Centre Européen de Séjour You will need to book this in advance. There are plenty of other places to book in Calais using Booking.com or Airbnb.
bike start point
This is the location of the start of the bike section. The pilot will drop the athlete and boat support crew off very close to this point.
bike/athlete meeting point - before the finish
